11:00–11:30 Shimogamo Shrine Wedding Ceremony

Note: The wedding has two parts: (1) the outdoor procession and (2) the ceremony inside Aoi-den. Seating inside Aoi-den is limited to immediate family. Friends are warmly welcome to watch the procession on the shrine grounds.

11:30–14:00 Photo Session & Cherry-Blossom Picnic (Kimono welcome!)

This is an open potluck event after the ceremony. You’re very welcome to join our photo session, which starts at the shrine and continues through Tadasu-no-Mori to the Kamo River. Kimono is optional, and any attire is welcome.

17:00–20:00 Dinner Reception at Kanga-an Temple

Note: Your presence is the greatest gift, and no wedding gifts are expected. For guests joining the evening dinner, we kindly ask for a contribution of JPY 10,000 per person, payable upon arrival. Children under 18 attend free of charge. Dinner will be a vegetarian shojin-ryori meal with all-you-can-drink. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions below.
